The Sarjeant Gallery is pleased to offer an opportunity for supporters who wish to more tangibly benefit the Gallery by annually providing a significant donation to assist collection acquisitions and still receive all the benefits of membership.
The Gallery's collection has been developed through the generosity of individuals, by way of gifts, donations and bequests without cost to the Wanganui ratepayer. As the cost of art continues to rise it becomes increasingly necessary for the Gallery to look to its supporting community for assistance to enable the continued development of this nationally important collection.
This membership category treats $100 as a donation to directly support acquisitions and is tax deductible while the balance of $25 assists with the provision of membership benefits.
A unique annual feature is a special invitation to Patron Members and their invited guests (up to four) to a function hosted by the Board and staff at which art works acquired over the past year will be presented and their relevance to the collection discussed.
