Off the wall after 96 yearsA second century of inspirationSupport our SarjeantThe Collections Transition Team

Opening again soon

The recent devastating Whanganui floods have meant that the Sarjeant on the Quay is closed. Work is now well under way to replace water-damaged wall linings and the floor is being re-laid. We will be re-opening toward the end of September and look forward to welcoming you back!

Our nationally-important collections are safe and secure. The Sarj team is working hard to prepare for re-opening. Our shop is open online and taking orders; and our education team is hard at work.

Thanks for your continued support. We'll keep you posted as events unfold.

Right now we need our sky filled with stars!
