Sue James

Sue James is a member of the Wanganui Glass Group and moved to Wanganui in 2001 to earn her BFA at the Quay School of the Arts, majoring in glass in 2005. She works in cast glass, pate de verre and large scale installations incorporating glass.

"My personal ideas are associated with the natural world and its value; and the desire for human beings to be something beyond the mundane everyday world. I am interested in signs and symbols that relate to all cultures."
