Our volunteers are the oil in the machine of our organisation. They form an integral part of the Sarjeant Gallery operations. Some of our younger volunteers have gone on to pursue jobs in the arts and culture sector with the support and guidance of gallery staff. Some of our older volunteers have brought years of valuable arts industry experience to bear enhancing our institutional knowledge. Others have brought boundless enthusiasm for our town, for art and for the visitor experience.
Our Gallery is Family
Whether young or old our volunteers form part of our gallery family. If you would like to meet new people, learn new skills and be consistently inspired we would love you to join us. There are no set commitments or hours, we bring volunteers together on an as needed basis. There are a host of ways your time can be of benefit. From administrative tasks to helping deliver events, from preparing materials for education programmes to contributing ideas your time is priceless to us.
