In Other Voices, Other Rooms a kitchen sink make entirely out of paint, a floral glass television, a double backed chair, a cardboard tape deck and a fully laid out dining room table will occupy the Sarjeant Gallery. This collection based exhibition presents rooms in a house: a kitchen, dining room, lounge and kitchen. As an installation and sculpture based show, this exhibition creates an immersive experience that transports the viewer to an ‘other’ space, filled with colourful, odd and surreal objects.
